Applies wildcards before and after each text string. For example, a Quick search for
Dog finds
Dogs,
dog_bark, and
howling_dogs.
Does not automatically apply any wildcards. Therefore, an Advanced search on
Dog finds
Big Dog, but not
Dogs (unless you manually add a wildcard, as described in
Wildcard Characters (* and ?)).
In addition, Advanced Search recognizes word breaks such as underscores and capitalization. For example, an Advanced search on
Dog also finds
Big_Dog (Big-underscore-Dog) and
BigDog, though it would not find
BigDogs.
